Biography
Faithful, dedicated,
and committed.
Lady Valerie J. Howell is a native of Kinston, North Carolina, and currently resides in Wilson with her husband, Bishop Christopher L. Howell. She is the First Lady of Apostolic Deliverance Church of Christ.
Lady Howell is a graduate of Lenoir Community College, where she studied Library Science and earned an associate degree in Library Science in 1991. She is also a graduate of the University of Maine, where she studied Library Science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
She received her master’s degree in Media and Technology in 2002 and has over 30 years of experience in library work. She is currently a licensed, highly qualified librarian.
A faithful helpmate
Standing faithfully beside the work of ministry.
In 1997, she obeyed the voice of God and the leadership of her husband and relocated to Wilson, North Carolina, where Apostolic Deliverance Church of Christ was started. Shortly thereafter came two more churches. She supports and stands by Bishop Howell as First Lady of Apostolic Deliverance Church of Christ.

Lady Howell strives to be an example of a virtuous woman—a woman who has yielded to God in every area of her life. She has shown herself to be faithful, dedicated, and totally committed not only to the Lord, but also to her husband.
Lady Howell humbly serves as a helpmate to her husband of over 30 years. Although she has accomplished many things, she is most proud of raising their children. She believes there is nothing more important in life than pleasing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by being an excellent wife and mother.
Lady Howell’s desire is to serve God in every endeavor and facet of life as she is used to impact the Kingdom and repair the brokenness in the lives of everyone she encounters.
